I have been in private practice in Virginia since 1983. I provide a full range of psychological services, including therapy with children, adolescents, adults, and couples. My area of primary interest, however, involves issues related to marriage, separation, and divorce. I have more than 25 years experience providing custody and visitation assessments, in a wide range of jurisdictions involving a wide range of issues, and assessments involving other forensic matters, such as personal injury, mental competency, etc. I do a wide range of other assessments including those related to general personality, adult and childhood ADHD, and other psycho educational areas.

Another area of interest and experience involves Parental Coordination, helping couples in conflict parent together effectively, often around post-divorce issues. In this role problems can be mediated or arbitrated, within the context of a strong child welfare orientation. I am also trained and certified to work with other team members, as either a Coach or Child Specialist, to help facilitate couples in Collaborative Divorce.
